Unite Students is Travis Perkins partner for redeveloping the Baltic Wharf site. As the largest provider of Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) in the country we have 30 years of experience managing student halls and embedding our buildings in their local communities.

Over the years our offer to both the students that live with us and the communities they live in has evolved and grown. Our most recent buildings include ample amenity space for our students with study space, games and cinema rooms, gyms and even karaoke suits.

One of our most recent new building in London, Hayloft Point in Tower Hamlets, is a good example. This building, which opened in 2022, is home to over 800 students and represents our most modern and advanced ideas for student living, creating a home for success for those that live with us. Unite Students also do a lot with the communities where our building are situated and provide social value opportunities for local charities and social enterprises. To take Hayloft Point as an example, we partner with a local charity Streets of Growth to provide them with a large ground floor space at peppercorn rent which allows them to run their events from a our large theatre space and house all their offices and smaller events from this permanent home.
